Who is
the Blue Healers Program for?
The Blue Healers Program
is is for people who are experiencing mild to
moderate depression, anxiety, and stress. The Blue Healers Program
is suitable for adults with depression,
stress and anxiety.
The Blue Healers Program
is unsuitable for people with Severe Clinical
Depression or a Chronic Mental
Illness.
Where can I access
the Blue Healers Program?
The Blue Healers Program
was developed and designed by Trudy Hanson, Manager of
the NALAG Centre for Loss & Grief in Dubbo. The Blue
Healers Program is conducted by NALAG Centres and
Branches throughout New South Wales.
We currently have 2 branches
conducting the Blue Healers Program - The NALAG Centre
for Loss & Grief Dubbo and the NALAG Coffs Coast Branch.
How do I Register for the Blue Healers
Program?
To register for the Blue Healers Program
you will need to contact a Centre or Branch of NALAG near you. There is a
easy assessment process which you will need to complete prior to acceptance
in the program. This involves a simple questionnaire (DASS42) and a chat
with one of our staff so that we can assess your personal needs and what you
may achieve from completing the Blue Healers Program.
What
does it cost to attend a Blue Healers Program?
The Blue Healers Program is offered FREE to all eligible
participants. You will be provided with a set of course
notes which contain current research about depression,
stress and anxiety and offer the latest strategies
available to cope and manage depression, stress and
anxiety.
